Packing standards
Marble bases and crystal should ship in a rigid crate with foam suspension, not a carton with bubble wrap. Lamps ship in sections with the shade boxed separately.
Insured delivery
Insured means the declared value is covered in transit, not just the courier's default liability. Confirm this in writing before payment.
Check on arrival
Photograph the crate before opening. Inspect the base edges, the joint between figure and stone, and the shade seams. Report any damage the same day with those photographs.
