So we buy the way collectors do. Slowly. In person where possible. We inspect each piece in hand, photograph it exactly as it is, and turn down far more than we take.
What we look for
Material honesty — bronze that patinas, crystal that refracts, stone with its own record of time. Proportion that works in a real home, not only a showroom. And makers who care about the back of a piece as much as the front.
